#926 Fifty Fifty 2013 Eclipse Evan Williams – Black Wax

Fifty Fifty 2013 Eclipse Evan Williams – Black Wax. American Double Imperial Stout. 9.5% ABV

SMELL:  Chocolate, malt, sugar, wood, and bourbon.

TASTE:  Strong chocolate, bourbon, malt, and wood tones.

DRINK-ABILITY: A excellent stout. This beer is super thick and you can really taste the fact that this beer was aged in a bourbon barrel. It is super balanced and has the wood and alcohol flavors of a fine bourbon but not enough to overpower the roasted malt, chocolate, and espresso flavors that you expect in a great stout.

RATING:   10 out of 10.
